How do you make soft rolls rather than the crusty ones? - breadmaker rolls

I have a bread machine to do everything possible to mix and things just need to know how to get lists in the oven to remain flexible!
Stotties'm trying to do and not a crust hood.

To keep soft buns at the top, without her in brush melted butter over the dough before baking, and half of them a quick brush.

Works great on my butter cookies.
